BACK PAIN BLOG

Q. What would cause my whole spine to feel stressed?
The whole right side of my body feels like it is being pulled tight from my neck to my sit down bones and a tight pulling feeling in my pelvic floor area. The outside of my buttocks tingle when I sit. Also, when I walk it feels like a rubbing sensation in the tailbone/rectal area. No doctor can find the problem and I have been searching for help for almost 4 years. Even my right hand is more red than the left.

What could possibly be the culprit?

Dear Stressed Out Spine: Anytime anyone hears a rubbing sound in a body part, be assured (or at least 90% assured), that you have a joint moving too much. If a joint is moving too much it means that you have ligaments that are weakened. The ligaments hold the joint in place. In your case it represents the sacrotuberous/sacroiliac ligaments. All the spine is connected, so yes if one part of the spine is injured it can affect the whole spine. My advice is go to a good Prolotherapy doctor. They will address your primary problem and hopefully correct a lot of the spinal problems. If the condition has gone on a long time you may need whole spinal Prolotherapy.

There is no known cure for arthritis. Prolotherapy and nutritional supplements can help alleviate, reverse, or end arthritic pain by treating an underlying cause that contributes to degenerative disease, ligament laxity. Strengthening ligaments and other connective tissue can help prevent bone on bone arthritis from developing.
