Caring Medical offers second opinion on cases
that appears to have plateaued
We received the following email recently from a patient in Oklahoma, "I have
received 3
Prolotherapy treatments from a local physician for my
sacroiliac
joint. The first treatment reduced my pain about 50%. The 2nd and 3rd treatments
gave me marginal improvement, but it seems like I have plateaued in my progress.
I would like to make an appointment to become 100% better. Since I live far
away, I would like it if I could receive the Prolotherapy on my first visit."
At Caring Medical, we specialize in treating chronic pain and
sports injuries,
utilizing the comprehensive
Hackett-Hemwall Prolotherapy technique. In
conjunction with
Prolotherapy, we founded The
Hauser Diet® Natural Medicine
Program to maximize wellness and healing, and for those desiring to achieve
optimal weight and energy.
Dr. Hauser will also address your
nutritional needs,
as well as your ability to heal, making sure that your body possesses the
building blocks in order to optimize healing.
Dr. Hauser, being an avid
athlete himself - a five-time Ironman finisher,
cyclist, and ultramarathoner, is also able to fully address the exercise and
training needs of our athlete patients, as well as the patient in chronic pain,
having suffered with many pain conditions himself over the years. He prescribes
exercise regimes that will help strengthen the weakened area, as well as provide
you with a program to progress you back into your sport/activity as quickly as
possible.
If you feel like you may not be getting better as quickly as expected, we'd be
happy to see you and give you a second opinion. The above emailer became a
patient and was interestingly diagnosed with
benign congenital hypermobility
(naturally loose tendons and ligaments), worsened from years of yoga and
gymnastics. She was "faithfully" stretching and doing yoga, but in reality, she
needed to be doing strength training in order to build muscle to make her
stronger and tighter. Dr. Hauser also wanted her to strengthen her weak side by
using a bosu ball, starting with standing on it to strengthen the weak hip/leg.
In addition to that, she not only needed her
SI joint treated with Prolotherapy, but
also her hip and her entire
low back, utilizing a stronger
Prolotherapy solution
due to the congenital hypermobility syndrome. Dr. Hauser also recommended that
she start taking supplements to help repair and accelerate the healing process.
