The Fungal Cause
of Chronic Arthritis
and
fibromyalgia Pain

It you have the flu virus floating around your blood stream, how do you feel? You are right-your whole body feels achy and tired. For people who come to our office with total body aches and chronic fatigue the first diagnosis to think of is fungus infection. Fungus infections including Candida can cause a myriad of symptoms, including chronic fatigue, pain, headaches, allergies, loss of balance and depression. Most people do not realize that there is a humongous fungus among us. This is a phrase taken from a friend, nutritionist Doug Kaufmann of Dallas, Texas, one of the foremost experts on fungus infections today.

Fungus really is everywhere, including yeasts and molds. Anywhere you see moisture, fungus exists. People go to the grocery store and pick out some nice green leafy lettuce, put it in the refrigerator, and eat it three days later. By this time, the lettuce is full of mold. Where did the mold come from? The mold was already on the lettuce when it was purchased. Mold, yeast, and fungus are everywhere, including on the food we eat and in the air we breathe. Some of the most common fungus infections that most people have experienced are yeast infections. Yeast infections are so common that the medications to eradicate them are advertised regularly on prime time TV. Women get yeast infections but from where are the yeast originating? Why don't men get them? (Candida Albicans,. the yeast that causes the infection, actually lives and grows in the intestines). Many women state that their doctors just gave them a cream for the yeast infections. How is a cream going to kill the yeast in the intestines? Any woman with a history of even one yeast infection that was not treated with a natural remedy or medication will not eradicate the fungus infection in the gut and most likely still has it. Men are full of fungus too. It is more difficult for the men to know that they have it, but when blood and stool are tested, it is there.

Candida and other fungi feed on sugar and carbohydrates, allowing them to grow and proliferate. This is why one of the most common symptoms of chronic fungal or Candida infection is sugar craving. The other common symptoms of chronic yeast infection are the following: poor memory, headache, chronic body aches, terrible fatigue, loss of sex drive, PMS, depression, constipation, and a host of other symptoms.

Some solutions to this problem are to avoid excessive sugar intake and avoid foods high in yeasts, such as "aged cheeses," breads, and other starches.

There is no known cure for arthritis. Prolotherapy and nutritional supplements can help alleviate, reverse, or end arthritic pain by treating an underlying cause that contributes to degenerative disease, ligament laxity. Strengthening ligaments and other connective tissue can help prevent bone on bone arthritis from developing.
